The former Director-General of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum, Osaro Onaiwu has dumped the party for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), reports Daily Trust.
Onaiwu, who resigned his appointment on Monday is contesting the Edo governorship election slated for September 10.
He, however, did not participate in PDP governorship primary on Monday.
Onaiwu on Tuesday picked the APGA’s expression of interest and nomination forms.
Onaiwu according to Today said he decided to change his tent because APGA doesn’t have scandal.
Onaiwu said he was motivated to join APGA because of what Governor Willie Obiano is doing in Anambra State, adding that the major thrust of his government would be to industrialise Edo State if elected.
