The Supreme Court on Tuesday gave the Court of Appeal an order to go ahead with all issues relating to the Ondo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate tussle.
Acting Chief Justice of the Federation, Justice Walter Onnoghen who presided over the hearing directed the appellate court to immediately proceed with the case in view of its urgency, reports Leadership
Other members Of the Supreme Court panel according to Tribune include Tanko Mohammed, kudirat Kekere Ekun, Ejembi Eko and Kumai Akaahas.
The apex court also struck out ten motions for stay of execution filed against the lower court after Biyi Poroye lawyer announced their withdraw of all the motions which was not opposed by other counsels.
The court awarded a cost of N250 000 against Poroye and others that filed the motion.
The court will decide at once about 14 appeals on the PDP and the Ondo governorship crisis.
