The Nigerian artist L.A.X has threatened to sue a lady who claims he gave her herpes.
A infectious viral infection called herpes usually results in sores around the mouth or genitalia. While the virus can be treated, there is no known cure.
On Monday, L.A.X’s girlfriend posted a romantic photo of herself with the singer via X, wishing a happy new year to all.
Commenting on the post, a user with the handle @edna_reese called L.A.X a “wicked herpes giver”.

In 2012, L.A.X, whose real name is Damilola Rasak Afolabi, dropped his breakthrough track, “Jaye.”
He secured a contract with Starboy Entertainment in 2013, not long after the release of the blockbuster song “Caro,” which featured Wizkid.
In addition to being nominated for “Hottest Single of the Year” at the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards, “Caro” won L.A.X the title of “Diaspora Artiste of the Year.”
Other tracks that he has released are “Ole,” “Go Low,” and “Ginger.”
