Nigerian singer Duncan Mighty has claimed that his life is in danger after being paid to record a song for former Imo State governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha.
The singer wrote an open letter to the politician stating the kind of ordeal he has had to endure because he took money to make music for the governor.
He said, after recording the song, he was invited by the police for questioning and has had several threats made on his life.
As such he wants to return the governor’s money to avoid further tanishing of his brand and name.
He wrote:
“Your Excellency Because you directly paid in public . While the job was going smoothly immediately after you paid.
“They said you sent them to bring back money to you # LONG THROAT DIFFERENT FROM A HUNGRY PERSON … even if na ordinary pepper I dey sell I must be good”
