‘I’ve Been Battling Kidney Issues for 20 Years’ – Nigerian Singer Pupa Tee Cries for Help

Adelaja David, popularly known as Pupa Tee, a Nigerian musician, has requested financial assistance in order to have a kidney transplant.

In recent months, the artist has often asked for financial help on Instagram.

Pupa Tee mentioned in one of the posts that he has been battling kidney difficulties for 20 years and has lately begun dialysis therapy.

He stated that he requires financial support for a kidney transplant in order to regain his health.

“For the past 20 years, I have been having kidney issues and kidney complications and I have done different things to overcome this problem but it persists,” he said.

“It recently got so bad that I needed to start dialysis which I have started. I have gone through a series of dialysis and I was told that I need to stay on dialysis to stay healthy.

“It was proposed that for me to have a permanent solution I need a kidney transplant.

“That is why I decided to make this video to call to the public and ask for help and another chance to live.”

Nigerian comedian Koffi Idowu has also expressed sympathy for the injured artist.

The comedian has asked fans and colleagues to contribute at least N2,000 to assist fund the singer’s hospital bill, which is estimated to be N15 million.

Pupa Tee’s music career began while he was a student at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

In 2011, he released his debut single, “Oruka.”

Pupa Tee has since released several songs, including ‘Money No Go Disappoint,’ ‘Escape,’ ‘Confam,’ and ‘I’m Obsessed.
