Popular Nigerian screenwriter and filmmaker, Emem Isong Misodi, has announced the loss of her mother. The screenwriter revealed that her mother died not long after her father passed away.
The screenwriter, who announced the tragic loss on her Instagram page, shared a video displaying photos of her mother. Misodi shared a lengthy heartbreaking post to pay tribute to her mother. Misodi expressed that she finds it hard to believe that her mother is gone. She noted that her mother passed away while they were still recovering for their father’s loss.

On the post, Misodi stated that her mother’s loss left a trail of broken hearts behind. She, however, said the memory of her mother’s wise words gives her a measure of comfort because it means her words and deeds would always be remembered.
She wished her mother a peaceful rest, promising that the family would always remember her. The screenwriter said burial arrangements will be announced soon.
