A man has been arrested in the Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State in Nigerian after he allegedly raped and killed a 36-year-old woman, Punch reports.
The 60-year-old suspect, identified as Emma Ukwa was arrested by a vigilance group and handed over to the police.
It was gathered that the suspect raped the victim in a farm in the area on Friday.
Ukwa reportedly mocked the woman for being a virgin after defiling her, the report said.
A report by Gistmaster said that Ukwa was exposed when a friend of the deceased went to the farm to find out what kept her back for a long time, but found her lifeless body.
Police were investigating.
