How hateful can social media users be? Nigerian comedian Seyi Law and his adorable wife welcomed a daughter a few months ago after years of one still birth and difficulty in conception. Apparently, a lot of people feel that their daughter who is a couple months old is obese and have taken it upon themselves to tell the new parents. So far, Seyi Law has had to fight off the trolls who often say truly hurtful things about their daughter.
We think that Seyi has gotten to the point where he couldn’t care less or so he tries to show on social media. As always, he has been flaunting his darling Tiwa and in a recent Instagram post shared a prayer to God for his baby’s haters to commit suicide so that the current Nigerian economic situation can be blamed for it. See hilarious but heartfelt prayer of the clearly upset dad:
“God open the eyes of the foolish to see the gift you kept in my hands. Please Lord, let them know their hatred won’t make me stop posting pictures and if they won’t repent, hasten their suicides at least people will assume it’s because of recession. Thank you, Lord for speedy answers to my prayers”.
