Ike made his film debut while studying at the University of Lagos.
His Nollywood breakthrough came after one of his senior colleagues recommended him to a movie producer named Charles Owoyemi.
He appeared in the film ‘Deadly Affair’ in 1995.
He has now embarked on other lead parts in Nollywood movies including ‘A Million Tears’, ‘Royal Calabash’, ‘Akunna’, ‘Secret Act’ and ‘I Swear’.
The actor has also received national recognition for his abilities.
In December 2021, he announced intentions to start a TV station focused at boosting Nollywood and expanding prospects in the film business.
“We need a level in Nollywood whereby the structure can run fine. Setting up a structure like Nollywood TV on TStv will give us that leverage to explore more of the potentials in the industry,” he said
