Nigeria: Vice President Yemi Osinbajo Meets Service Chiefs, Governors Over Militant’s Attacks

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday met with the nation’s service chiefs and state governors from oil-producing area in the country, reportsPunch.

Osinbajo is holding brief for President Muhammad Buhari, currently on vacation in the UK.

The meeting may not be unconnected to recent attacks on oil facilities by the Niger Delta Avengers and other militants in the zone

Those attending the meeting are; Service Chiefs, Minister of Defence, Mansur Dan Ali, Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu and the Governors of Bayelsa, Rivers, Delta, Ondo, Abia and Akwa Ibom States.
