Nigeria: There Is No Going Back On Biafra, Says Nnamdi Kanu

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has once again replied to militant group, the Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND), insisting that they will not buckle under the pressures of the Federal Government, Naij reports.

IPOB has reported that its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, is not ready to surrender to the Government, despite having been living in detention for the past few months.

The organization has warned MEND against making statements that are deceitful, malicious and baseless, while claiming that MEND is working with Government officials to frustrate the fight for Biafra.

IPOB was speaking in response to a recent warning directed at them by MEND, which claimed that Kanu should renounce Biafra in public if he hopes to ever be released.

“Nnamdi Kanu shall never ever renounce Biafra whether in secret or in the open and he and the entire IPOB stand strongly with the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA).”
