Nigeria: Militants Blow Up Oil Installation In Delta

A militant group named Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate, have attacked two oil installation owned by the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company NPDC at Owhrode community, Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.

According to local sources, the attack occurred this morning at about 2am.

NPDC maintenance team have arrived the scene of the attack to carryout repairs.

This is happening three weeks after militants attacked a major crude oil exports trunk line, Trans Ramos, belonging to the Shell Petroleum Development Company, SHDC in Delta State.

The attack occurred at 1:00 am in the morning with the blast rattling homes in nearby communities with a huge ball of fire visible.
