Nigeria: Man Pictured Carrying a Live Crocodile At The 2017 Durbar Festival in Kano

An unusual occurrence left a lot of attendees in shock at the 2017 Durbar Festival which held in Kano state; as an unidentified man was seen carrying a live crocodile as a pet.

The Durbar festival which is an annually celebrated festival in several cities of Nigeria is usually celebrated at the culmination of Muslim festivals ‘Eid Al-Fitr’ and ‘Eid Al-Adha’.

The colourful event was attended by notable Nigerians such as the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido; Governor Umar Ganduje of Kano State and also Ambassadors of Spain and Argentina who were dressed in traditional attire.

The prestigious event was no doubt a colourful one as the unidentified man carrying the pet crocodile; stole a lot of attention.

The event got attendance from notable dignitaries in the state such as the Emir of Kano – Sanusi Lamido and Governor Umar Ganduje of Kano State.

Included, were foreigners such as the ambassadors of Spain and Argentina who were all dressed in traditional attires.
