Gunmen on Tuesday killed 11 people and injured several others during attacks on three villages in Kaduna State, reports Channels TV
The attacks which lasted several hours took place in Gada Biyu, Akwa’a and Angwan Anjoo villages in Jema’a local government area of the state.
Daily Trust reports that the gunmen invaded the villages, started shooting and burning down houses.
A witness said six men and three women were killed in Gida Biyu and in Akwa’a, and two men killed in Angwan Anjo
He said the assailants first struck around 6am on Monday, and the attack continued till Tuesday.
He said people fled in different directions for safety but the Police were quick to arrive and the invaders fled into the bushes, leaving the dead bodies behind.
