Nigeria: APC Postpones Ondo State Governorship Primary Election

The All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ondo State have postponed its planned governorship primary elections till next week Wednesday, reportsVanguard.

The election was schedule for this Saturday before its postponement.

The shift was made in a bid to solve the crisis rocking the party in the state.

The party also moved the venue of the exercise to Democracy Park.

The move to the Democracy park came after the Nigerian Army turned down the party’s request to hold it in military barrack.

The party had earlier proposed a military base for exercise to forestall violence, reports News 24
