Niger PDP Splits Into Two Factions.

Members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Niger state elected parallel executive for the party.

The PDP in Niger state has split into two with former state Chairman of the party, Alhaji Abdulrahman Mahmud Enagi leading a parallel Exco in the state,Vanguard reported.

Enagi, also threatened to drag the other faction led by the immediate past Vice Chairman of the Party, Barrister Tanko Bejiwhile to court.

Enagi, while addressing journalists in Minna yesterday, said the last state congress was marred with irregularities, impunity, imposition that would not be acceptable by the concerned PDP members in the state hence the formation of the parallel EXCO.

According to All Africa, Secretary to State Government SSG, Hon. Idris Ndako Kpaki under Former Governor Aliyu , said the party has lost some big wigs in the state to the ruling party recently in the state and the reasons for them leaving the party was attributed to impunity.

The Chairman of the new faction has Hon. Yusuf Kure while the Deputy Chairman is Tsalha Attahiru and the secretary is Adamu Mohammed Wanigi.
