Militant group Niger Delta Avengers have struck again, targeting Chevron operations and destroying valuable infrastructure in the process.
According to Vanguard, the group bombed yet another Chevron pipeline, this time affecting electricity supply to the Escravos tank farm in Delta.
The group took to their official Twitter handle, @NDAvengers, to confirm the development while claiming that the latest attack functioned as a revenge plot due to Chevron ignoring their May 12 warning regarding the repairs being done on a major crude pipeline blown up by the group earlier this month.
