Newly formed militant group, the Niger Delta Red Squad (NDRS), has made startling new demands from President Muhammadu Buhari, Naij reports.
NDRS, who have claimed responsibility for the bombing of two pipelines in Imo State, have warned that they will shut down all oil wells within the state while claiming that oil-producing areas rightfully belong to them.
Quoting a statement that was previously posted on a Facebook account belonging to the group, NDRS claimed that it has the capacity to carry out such attacks and achieve its goal.
The development follows on from a statement made by the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) refuting reports that they had signed a ceasefire agreement with the Federal Government.
