ANC Leader Musalia Mudavadi says that President Uhuru Kenyatta is to blame for the deaths of protesters taking part in IEBC protests around the country.
Following Mondays IEBC protests, 3 people were killed by Police who shot using live bullets at protesters.
The dead were shot at in Kisumu and Siaya.
Mudavadi says that the President has allowed violence to take heed in peaceful protests.
“It is up to the President to stop it but he has not and the blame is squarely on his shoulders for the blood of peaceful protesters,” he said.
He urged the ruling Jubilee coalition to make up its mind on how to deal with the IEBC saga and stop more deaths.
“We cannot continue seeing people dying. The President must do something,” he added.
Mudavadi also is of the opinion that the IEBC must be changed ahead of the 2017 polls.
“There must be changes to the IEBC before the next polls otherwise they will be untenable,” he added.
