Mike Mbuvi Sonko says he will run for the Presidency… In 2032.
Sonko told News24 on phone Tuesday that he was going to support President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP William Ruto in the 2017, 2022 and 2027 polls and then run himself come 2032.
” The plan is that I be the President come 2032. That is my ambition and I am sure I can do it,” he said.
He stated that he would campaign around the country for President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP William Ruto’s re-election and promised to be seen all over the country.
” They are the two leaders I look upon. I will push for them to get to State House and then afterwards it will be my turn,” he added.
At present though, Sonko is keen to dethrone Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero and he is confident of doing so.
” I believe that I will make it and do it for the people of Nairobi who are tired of the current regime,” he added.
Sonko is favourite to win the Jubilee Coalition ticket and represent them in taking on Kidero come 2017.
