A man was Wednesday arraigned in court after being found in possession of a Kenya police uniform illegally.
Stephen Wainaina who also faced another count of offensive conduct denied the charges before Senior Resident Magistrate Boaz Ombewa.
The prosecution told the court that the accused was arrested on February 22 at Highway hotel in Laisamis town for being in possession of police uniform.
The disciplined forces property that belong to the Administration Police unit included a jungle shirt, three jungle trousers, a pair of jungle boots, socks, a jungle t-shirt and one line yard.
On the second count, which the accused allegedly committed on February 21 and at the same premises, he allegedly uttered abusive words to one Mwendo Sam.
He denied both charges and was released on a KES.15,000 bond with surety of similar amount or a cash bail of the same amount.
The case was slated to be heard on March 29, this year.
