A man has been burnt to death in Kibera during anti Moses Kuria riots in Nairobi.
The man was lynched by irate crowds Tuesday afternoon.
The motive of his killing was yet to be known.
The protests begun just after 3 PM local time after news emerged that CORD leaders had been arrested and detained over incidences of hate speech.
This was in contrast to Kuria, who was not forcibly arrested over threats to assassinate CORD leader Raila Odinga.
” Moses Kuria must die” some of the youths chanted.
Others called for his deportation to Congo.
Police headed to the scene of the incident which spread from Kibera to the nearby Ngong Road where they barricaded the road in protest.
Ngong road and especially the Adams Arcade Junction was a no go zone as the youth engaged Police in running battles.
