Police in Isiolo County have arrested a man for allegedly assaulting his pregnant wife.
The County Criminal Investigations Officer David Cheruiyot said the man, who works with the local County Government, is said to have assaulted his wife on March 15, 2016 at the county public service board office.
He said a P3 form that was produced showed the woman was injured.
“We have conducted and completed our investigations which concluded that the woman was assaulted by the County Government official,” said Cheruiyot.
He said the suspect recorded a police statement at the criminal investigations offices and will be arraigned in court.
