A middle aged man has been arraigned in a Nyeri court accused for stealing household items from his former employer.
Stanley Ngugi was accused of going to his former employer, Samuel Kihara’s home and stole goods worth KES.36,425.
The owner was allegedly with his family in Nairobi for business, while the robbery was taking place in December 3 last year.
Upon Kihara’s return, he reported the case at the police station and gave a list of the items missing from his house, which included six pairs of blankets, four pairs of sports shoes, five sufuria’s, seven kilograms of sugar and rice, cooking oil, curtains, two pairs of withered swede shoes, checked tie and spaghetti all worth to KES.36,425.
Ngugi was later arrested and taken to the Kariminu police post.
The case was adjourned to June 26, this year
