Former First Lady, Lucy Kibaki was Friday morning rushed to the Nairobi Hospital where she was admitted to the ICU.
It is alleged that she fell ill at her home in Muthaiga, Nairobi.
According to The Star, she was first rushed to Getrude’s Children’s Hospital at 4am and later referred to Nairobi Hospital where she was admitted at 5am.
Lucy has been missing from public since 2010, raising many questions about her health and whereabouts.
The last public event she attended was the promulgation of the new Constitution at Uhuru Park in August 2010, Standard reports.
She has kept a low profile since then, leaving the public guessing on what could have happened to the former First Lady.
