Middle Child reportedly is how Cole sees himself in the music industry. The “middle” refers to where the rapper feels he sits between the generations represented by Kodak Black and Jay-Z.
Cole released the track ahead of the release of Revenge of the Dreamers III from Cole’s record label Dreamville.
