LISTEN: Kanye West Releases New Track In Honour Of His Mother

Kanye West has paid tribute to his late mother, Donda, with a new track named after her and released on her birthday.

Donda West died in November 2007 after complications from a cosmetics procedure.

The song starts off with Donda reciting the lyrics to KRS-One’s song Sound of da Police, featuring the Kanye towards the end of the 02:19 second clip.

“In loving memory of my incredible mother on her birthday. My mom reciting KRS1 lyrics. This song is called DONDA,” Kanye wrote on Twitter when he shared the track along with the video.
