Let us meet in court, former Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo has told Deputy President Wiliam Ruto.
Jirongo was reacting to reports that the Deputy President is keen to sue him for linking him to the murder of businessman Jacob Juma.
Jirongo accused the DP, who was not in good terms with Juma of playing a part in his murder in cold blood in Nairobi ten days ago.
And with the DP saying he is ready to go to court to protect his name, Jirongo says he is also ready to tackle him head on.
” Let us meet in court. I have nothing to hide and I stand by my words,” he told News24 on phone.
” The DP was mentioned by the late Juma as having ulterior motives on his life. That was not said by me but Juma himself and if the DP sees it fit, we will meet in court to thrash out the truth,” he added.
Jirongo is among a number of opposition leaders who have read sinister motives as concerns the murder of the outspoken Juma in a hail of bullets along Ngong Road.
