Kim Kardashian West is responding to claims she bought John F. Kennedy’s bloody shirt calling it a “sick joke”.
In case you missed all the drama that ensued on social media the past few days, according to the reality star, a user posted a fake screenshot from her Instagram Stories of the bloody shirt and wrote, “Along with Michael Jackson’s jacket and hat, North also got the shirt John F. Kennedy wore when he was assassinated.”
According to E! News, Kim did, in fact, buy North a jewel-adorned velvet jacket and the Smooth Criminal fedora from Julien’s Auction House for $65 625 and $56 250 respectively – the bloody shirt though, “that’s obviously fake”.
Kim tweeted on Monday taking on those that ran with the fake news and slammed all reports. “WOW this is obviously fake!” she said. “@Refinery29 I did not get JFK’s shirt. That is a sick joke that someone tweeted as a fake ig story that I never posted.”
