A 30-year Kenyan living in the United States crashed into a police cruiser causing an end to his life.
According to the Daily Nation, David Njuguna living in Massachusetts veered over three marked lanes while speeding causing him to crash into state trooper, Thomas Clardy’s vehicle.
Clardy who was getting into his vehicle at the time was situated at the side of the turnpike.
He sustained traumatic injuries and administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) which led to his death upon arrival at the hospital.
Meanwhile Kenyan nationals serving time in foreign prisons are set to be repatriated if bilateral agreements and treaties with the respective countries are implemented.
The newly formed agreement will also explain the conditions for transfer of prisoners.
It is estimated that about 3 000 Kenyans are serving jail time in various parts of the world which is similar to the number of foreign nationals.
