The Veteran Kenyan gospel singer Giftborn has released a song featuring an upcoming gospel musician after he was touched by his story.
Born Kalama Gift Nzaro, 25-year-old GiftBorn narrated his struggles and how the collaboration with Daddy Owen fell through.

“Back in high school, whenever I came home from school, my mum would sob. I never understood why until the day she explained.
“When she was pregnant, my dad bolted and her family gave her an ultimatum. Abort or stay away. Following pressure from her family, she unsuccessfully tried aborting me thrice until a doctor warned her that getting rid of me could kill her,” the singer reminisced.
GiftBorn’s fate turned when he met his current manager, Joe, at a feeding programme by Reverend Teresiah Wairimu’s FEM ministries.
Meeting Daddy Owen
Joe subsequently introduced GiftBorn to Daddy Owen and whom he featured in his new single, Nitume, an ode to his commitment to God’s calling.
