President Uhuru Kenyatta has told Kiambu Governor William Kabogo and Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu to stop their public spats.
The President has been closely watching the ongoing spat between the two leaders who have been going hard at each other in the last few months.
Waititu is eyeing Kabogo’s seat in the 2017 elections.
The President who spoke to the two over the weekend in Thika told them that the spat must end.
” The President is unhappy with the spat and says that they must end it,” a source told News24.
The two have been trading insults which have in recent times ended up in personal circles, with both having a go at each other’s intelligence.
The President had earlier stated that he fears visiting his home area Gatundu which is in Kiambu because of the spat between the two.
