Kenya: Jubilee Names Its Members To Joint Committee On IEBC

President Uhuru Kenyatta has announced names of Jubilee nominees to the Joint Select Committee that will be tasked with resolving the IEBC stalemate.

A statement from State House on Thursday said the names were chosen during a Jubilee Parliamentary Group meeting held earlier this morning.

“Jubilee nominees to Joint Select Committee are Kiraitu Murungi, Kipchumba Murkomen, Beatrice Elachi, Fatuma Dullo, Cecile Mbarire, Naomi Shaaban, Moses Kuria and Jimmy Angweyi.

“Others are Jomo Ben Washiali, Eng. Mohammed Mahmoud, Soipan Tuya,” State House Spokesman Manoah Esipisu said in the statement.

According to Esipisu, Jubilee will forward its proposals on Joint Select Committee to Speakers of Parliament.
