Kavuludi Writes Off Mudavadi, Raila Presidential Ambitions.

National Police Service Commission chairperson, Johnston Kavuludi has written off Cord and ANC leaders Raila Odinga and Musalia Mudavadi’s ambitions in next year’s presidential race.

Kavuludi asked electorates from western region to vote for Jubilee government so as to enjoy the fruits associated with being in government.

“Let us put our eggs where we know they will hatch. If we lie to ourselves and put our eggs where they may not hatch, we will not be getting just value out of ourselves,” said Kavuludi.

He spoke in Cheptulu when he led other officers in opening of a new police station.

His statement comes even as Mudavadi and Raila enjoy massive support from the entire Luhya region and have declared to contest for Presidency in the next general election.

Kavuludi said regardless of the region’s desire to change their voting patterns, President Uhuru Kenyatta will still be in power come 2017.

He said the Luhya community was riding on the wrong horse politically because they were not thinking carefully.

He cautioned, “Let no one lie to us when we are going into the next election.”

He said whereas people were preparing to vote properly, the Luhya were preparing on how not to vote properly.

He appealed to the people to do all it takes to be part of the government and continue benefiting from its development projects.

“You know five years is a long time to be in the cold. Even now we are not very much in the cold, but we are preparing to get into it if we do not vote wisely,” he said.

He warned the community that if they do not vote wisely they should not complain that they are not being considered for plum government positions.

He said his statement was not to mean he will vie for any position because he still has a job, but just enlightening his people.
