Kanye West has apologized to cast members of The Cher Show for lack of etiquette during the performance.
Kanye and Kim Kardashian attended the opening night of the musical on Broadway on Monday night.
After the show, Jarrod Spector – who plays Sonny Bono in the show – called Kanye out on Twitter for being on his phone rather than watching the production.
“If you look up from your cell phone you’ll see we’re doing a show up here. It’s opening night. Kind of a big deal for us. Thanks so much,” Jarrod wrote.

Hey @kanyewest so cool that you’re here at @TheCherShow! If you look up from your cell phone you’ll see we’re doing a show up here. It’s opening night. Kind of a big deal for us. Thanks so much.

Kanye immediately responded, first apologising for his “lack of etiquette” and then praising Jarrod and the cast for the amount of “energy” they put into the show.
