The Kaduna State Government is looking for the death penalty for 50 Shi’ite Muslims charged of having created the death of a soldier.
According to Punch, a five-count charge has actually been submitted against the implicated, with the State Government charging them of criminal conspiracy theory, illegal setting up, guilty murder, disturbance of public peace as well as unlawful limit.
The Kaduna Government has alleged that the crime took place between December 12 and 14 in Zaria, the battleground for a deadly clash between troops and supports of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN).
