Jubilee Using Oparanya, Ababu To Bring Down CORD, Claims ODM

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) is now claiming that Kakamega Governor, Wycliffe Oparanya and Budalangi MP, Ababu Namwamba are being used by the Jubilee coalition to rock and bring down the CORD coalition.

ODM Nakuru branch chairman, Peter Ole Osono claimed that Oparanya and Ababu are planning to decamp to Jubilee soon and that is why they are causing confusion in the CORD coalition.

“The recent happenings and talk being propagated by Oparanya and Namwamba are a clear prove that they have been sent by outsiders to split CORD before 2017,” said Osono.

“Instead of working on how they can unite the coalition, they are busy working on how to send Kalonzo and Wetang’ula out and that is the work of Jubilee because we know they have plans to jump ship and join Jubilee ahead of the 2017 polls,” he added.

Osono called on party leader, Raila Odinga to crack the whip on Oparanya and Ababu if he wants CORD to stick together.

“If our party leader wants to hold the coalition together and win next year’s polls, he must reign in the likes of Oparanya and Ababu because if CORD splits he should forget about winning in 2017,” he said.

Osono called on CORD principals to put their house in order and agree on the flag bearer early enough to avoid last minute split.
