It has been established that controversial Nairobi businessman, Jacob Juma died after crashing into a bush.

Juma allegedly crashed after being shot by an unidentified gunman near the Lenana school Thursday night.

According to The Star, he was driving home from a bar in Kilimani when he met his death.

Reports indicate that he was shot on the verge of releasing crucial information on Eurobond.

A fearless critic of the Jubilee government and strong ally of opposition leader Raila Odinga, Juma had expressed fear for his life saying the Jubilee government wanted him dead.

In one of his Facebook posts, he said: “High voltage intelligence reports reaching me is that Jubilee leaders have hatched a plot to assassinate me over my stand on corruption in gov’t.”

Opposition leaders have called for immediate probe into his murder.
