Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko has said someone has sent a hit squad to eliminate him.
Through his twitter account, Sonko said someone is planning to have him executed the same way Nairobi ODM youth leader Stephen Mukabana and Jacob Juma were killed.
He however said he will not be cowed.
“Ambia hit squad yako mimi hapana Mukabana, Paul Karis, Ojok or Jacob Juma (Tell your hit squad I am not the likes of Mukabana, Paul Karis, Ojok or Jacob Juma). I am ready for anything, affidavit coming soon,” Sonko wrote on his twitter timeline.
The Senator was recently involved in a scuffle with Nairobi Governor Evan Kidero when they appeared before the Senate Public Accounts Committee.
It is not clear whom the tweet was addressing.
