Ghanaian president Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has had the opportunity of exchanging words and handshakes with the president of the United States of America (USA), Donald Trump.

It all happened when Nana Addo joined other African leaders at the Bloomberg Business Forum on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly at New York in the USA.
The historic meeting between Trump and African leaders drives home a thousand messages – the top being America’s decisive move to open its doors for bilateral trade with the African continent despite threats of cutting down on aid and other developmental projects.

“I, together with 8 other African Presidents, held talks with the President of the United States, Donald Trump, on improving relations between the United States and Africa. Earlier in the day, I also held meetings with the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani; the CEO and Chairman of ExxonMobil, Darren Woods; and participated in the Bloomberg Business Forum,”Nana Addo posted on his official Facebook page.
