Ghanaian traditional musician King Ayisoba has once again taken Ghana’s name beyond the shores of the continent and shared our music with the other side of the world.

The “I want to see you my Father” hitmaker performed with his Kolongo band, at the 2017 ACC World Music Festival in South Korea.

In an interview with Razzonline.com, the traditional musician expressed delight at the appreciation he received from the audience at the festival.

According to him, this should motivate Ghanaians to push music from Ghana even further.

He stated that he was surprised the Asian country did not know much about music from Ghana but at his show they were happily dancing.

I did some interviews in South Korea and they asked me if I was the only big artiste in Ghana. I said no and mentioned some of our current stars like Shatta Wale and Sarkodie but they did not have any idea who they were,

For me, this obviously means traditional music is more powerful than hiplife or Hip Hop or Dancehall music and Ghanaians must not throw it away,” he stated.

During his performance, the attendees at the concert could not help but boogie down to his music.
