Ghanaian Rapper, Medikal Plans To Put FreQuency Rap On His New EP

Ghanaian rapper Samuel Adu Frimpong popularly known as Medikal is set to release a 7 song EP titled “#THEPLUG” which will feature FreQuency Rap known in his private life as Samuel Nana Kwame Odame Ampofo.

FreQuency Rap started as a freestyle artiste where his videos and creativity are shared on social media for his fans to appreciate his talent. Most young Ghanaians easily relate to his creative and rhythm. His freestyle says a lot about what 90% of the youth in Ghana are facing.

FreQuency Rap who comes from a poor background with his Dad hit by Glaucoma which resulted to losing his sight seem super excited when he saw Medikal’s Instagram post saying;

“So I de put Tulenkey and Frequency for one song top on #THEPLUG EP.However, I wan do 5 free verses for 5 dope upcoming musicians.Kindly let me know if you know any so I look them up.”

Medikal the “Adweeba” hitmaker announced that he will be releasing his EP before the year ends. “#THEPLUG” which initially was a 5 song EP turned into a 7 song EP after Medikal’s manager, Flow Delly convinced him to compose not less than 7 songs for the EP.

Aside from featuring on songs for other musicians, Medikal has released 5 tracks this year.

He released “Talk To Am” featuring Patapaa, “Yesu” featuring Phil Black, “How Much featuring Kwesi Arthur and Ahtitude, our favourite “Adweeba” and “For You” featuring Bisa Kdei.
