Ghanaian Musician, Patapaa Debuts at ‘MTN Carol’s Service’

He made a big appearance on the music scene last year with the hit song, One Corner and since then, Swedru based artiste, Patapaa, has held a grip of his position in the industry.

Come Friday, December 21, at the Fantasy Dome, International Trade Fair Centre, La in Accra, Patapaa would have another chance to prove his worth when he performs at this year’s MTN Carols Service.

Apart from Patapaa, other artistes billed for the show are Kuami Eugene, Adina, Kwesi Arthur, MTN Viva Voices, Nacee, Feli Nuna and more.

The MTN Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols has grown in popularity over the years, necessitating a move away from its Accra International Conference Centre(AICC) ‘home’ to the Fantasy Dome which accommodates more people.

Real name, Justice Amoah, Patapaa gained local and international attention with his 2017 debut, One Corner. He has since come out with other songs such as Akwaaba, KumcHacha, Otita Fo, Suro Nipa, Kitchen Stool, It’s My Time and Ebeye Yie.

His fan base has grown and he has performed in England, Belgium, France and other places. There’s always something peculiar about his personality and music and fans would look out for how he tackles some of the well-known Christmas carols at the 6.00 p.m. event.

The other scheduled performers stand out in their own right. A number of them currently have hits in circulation and would want to prove why they matter on the contemporary scene.

They wield different approaches to performance and the show is expected to bring out how well they can entertain the audience and put them into the Christmas mood.
