Ghana Government Launches E-Cabinet

Ghana has introduced and started the implementation of an E-Cabinet platform to distribute and store documents.

This will eliminate the manual distribution of cabinet documents and embracing technology in the conduct of cabinet business.

Cabinet will from its next sitting begin using a new technology.

President John Dramani Mahama launched the platform Thursday said its introduction would not only enhance the efficiency of cabinet and ministers but also allow for the real time dissemination of information on developing agenda and documents.

Cabinet ministers have therefore been tasked to get conversant with the use of the platform since all announcements and documents for the next Cabinet meeting will be distributed through it.

The President encouraged all ministers who are not yet fully conversant with the platform to do so.
