Uncle Willi Roi calls on Fans of Shatta Wale not to faster than their shadows, he tells them to be calm because their king is a ‘local champion’.
Willi Roi has since the release of the list for this year’s BET jumped to the defence of Shatta Wale for not making the list although he seems to be reigning in Ghana currently.
Uncle Willi in a post on Facebook earlier last week mentioned that Shatta Wale is focused on making good money rather than wining awards.
But in a twist, the veteran industry player has calmed fans of Shatta Wale not to rush for International recognition because the journey is gradual.
He indicated that Shatta Wale needs to warm himself into the heart of the Ghanaian public before he will make any move for international recognition.
He posted “Peace Shatta fans don’t be Upset one has to rule locally before globally. One step at a time”.
