A memorial service for former Generations actor Mandla Hlatshwayo took place at Protea Hall in Protea Gardens on Thursday.

The 40-year-old was fatally shot at Meli Lounge in Pimville, Soweto whilst allegedly trying to assist two women who were being robbed on Sunday night.
Tributes continue to pour in following Mandla’s tragic death.
The funeral service for the JoziFM DJ will be held on Saturday at Protea Hall from 08:00 to 11:00, and will proceed to Olifantsvlei Cemetery.
