Former presidential candidate of the oldest surviving political party, Nigeria Advance Party, Tunji Braithwaite, died at the St Nicholas hospital at 82 after a brief illness, Naij reported.
The octogenarian founded the political party, NAP and was a delegate at the 2014 National Conference.
Braithwaite studied law at the University of Kennington and graduated as a barrister.
He has once enrolled as a barrister and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
