Tamaryn Green, a former Miss South Africa, and her businessman husband, Ze Nxumalo, have celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
On 2 April 2022, almost a year after announcing their engagement, the couple married in a lavish ceremony in Cape Town. Miss South Africa 2020 runner-up Natasha Joubert, media personalities Anele Mdoda and Basetsana Kumalo, K Naomi, and EFF leader Julius Malema were among those in attendance.
“Celebrating 1 year,” she wrote in the caption to a series of photos. “Happy Anniversary, my love. 02/04/2022.”

The medical doctor and her beau had an umembeso ceremony before exchanging vows, which occurs after the lobola is paid and the groom presents gifts to the bride’s family. The couple then had an umabo in October 2022, which is the closing ceremony in Zulu traditional weddings designed to introduce the bride to her new family.
Green bid farewell to singledom in February 2022 with a “wild animal-themed” bachelorette party. The weekend began with her guests flying by private plane to a national park, where they partied late into the night before heading out on an early morning game drive.
