A man who has been identified as a medical doctor based in Nairobi is on the spot for killing another man in a dispute over the ownership of Ngongongeri farm in Njoro, Nakuru County.
It is alleged that the doctor picked up a quarrel with Stephen Munyereri after he found him collecting some materials from the disputed piece of land.
Munyereri’s house was among four others that were torched last week when chaos first erupted at the farm.
The Star reported that the armed attackers also chased farmers away, with residents blaming the attack on unnamed politicians and members of the Ogiek Community.
Daily Nation reports that the land belongs to the killer doctor, with further reports linking former cabinet ministers, an MP and district commissioners to the farm.
