Diezani’s $115 Million Bribe: Former Akwa Ibom Governor Arrested.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) has arrested a former military administrator of Akwa Ibom State and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Idongesit Nkanga.

Nkanga was arrested for allegedly collecting N450 000 000 from the $115million deposited by former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, with Fidelity Bank Plc.

The former governor was picked up in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital on Monday according to Premium Times.

The former military boss reportedly collected the money in two tranches, from a certain Saint-Anthony Ejiowu, a staff of Fidelity Bank in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.
